How is usage calculated?
Usage is based on actual tokens consumed per API call. Every call records input and output token counts, which are multiplied by the per-token rate for the model used. You can monitor usage in real time from the dashboard.
Can I set a spending cap?
Yes. You can set a monthly spending cap from the dashboard. When you approach your limit, you will receive email alerts at 50%, 80%, and 95% thresholds so there are no surprises.
What happens if I hit my cap?
Tasks will pause until the next billing cycle or until you raise your cap. The bot stays online so you can still monitor projects, view dashboards, and manage settings -- only new API-consuming tasks are paused.
Can I switch models mid-month?
Absolutely. Model selection is per-request. Standard is the default for tasks, but you can opt into Advanced for individual tasks when you need deeper reasoning. Lite is used automatically for triage and routing.
